After School Program

John Muir Middle School provides multiple opportunities for students to integrate into their school community and receive free academic assistance with their homework as needed.

Homework Club

If you need help with your assignments, the Homework Club is a free, voluntary support program for students seeking assistance with homework. Tutoring usually takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Tuesday mornings 7 to 7:50 a.m. More information about the Homework Club schedule will be provided at the start of the school year.

School Library

  • The John Muir Middle School Library is run by Ms. Guadalupe Garcia. If you have any questions about our library lending policies, please email her at guadalupegarcia@burbankusd.org
  • All students need their school ID cards to check out books.
