In today’s woman in history, we have Misty Danielle Copeland, an American ballet dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, one of the three leading classical ballet companies in the United States. On June 30, 2015, Copeland became the first African American woman to be promoted to the principal dancer in the ballet company’s 75-year history, inspiring others and advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in the arts, especially ballet.

A little trivia for today, it is Pi Day! Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical sign pi and fosters an appreciation for math and science. Pi Day is observed today since the 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant numbers in Pi.

CJSF students, your completed service hours forms are being collected today at lunchtime by Ms. Duran. Stop by the counseling office to turn it in.

The Dance Club is canceled today but the LGBTQ+ Club will meet in room 412. Come join us for a safe and welcoming space where you can ask questions and share with your peers.

Spring break is here and you will have next week to rest and prepare for the last 10 weeks of the school year. Be ready to return on Monday, March 24, and for the All-School Track Meet that will happen when we get back.
