PTSA Book Sale this week
The John Muir PTSA is hosting its book sale this week, from Monday to Friday during lunch in room 400. They will accept cash, card, tap, and checks.  Hardcover books will be $5, paperback books are $3, and kids' books for younger siblings are $1.  See the attached flyer for more information and a list of available books.

Open House on Thursday
Open House will take place Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8pm.  Students will bring home a flyer today and your child should provide you with their class schedule. Open House is an event for parents.  If your child does come to Open House, we ask that they accompany you throughout the evening.

Early Dismissal on Friday and Spring Break next week
We will have a shortened day with 2pm dismissal on Friday and Muir will be closed next week for Spring Break.

John Muir Service Day on Saturday, March 28th
John Muir Service Day will take place on Saturday, March 28th from 9am to noon.  It is a great way for students and parents to give back to Muir, beautify the campus, and earn service hours.

Mindful Monday Minute
Every Monday our students do a Social-Emotional Learning activity in their Muir Time class.  We encourage you to follow up with your student on what they discussed.

Today in Muir’s Mindful Monday we continued to talk about teamwork.  Students investigated ways in which they can show up for their peers.  Consider delving into this at home.  How do we show up for each other?  Are there ways your family could improve? Ask your child to share ways they show up for classmates at school.
