This Week’s Happenings at Muir

Scholastic Book Fair this week
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school and this is a great opportunity for students to choose books independently.  The Book Fair is open on campus in Room 603 for students to purchase books during lunch time and after school. Students can use cash, debit cards, tap to pay, or Scholastic Book Fair eWallet.  eWallet is a digital payment option you can set up for your child to shop at the fair. Parents can shop with students at the Open House from 6:30-8:00 PM or at the Tuesday morning Pop Up in front of the Main Entrance 7:30-7:50 (weather permitting).

John Muir Fundraising Committee fundraisers
The John Muir Fundraising Committee is having a restaurant night tonight at Wood Ranch.  Please see the flyer for more details.  Also, the JMFC’s fundraiser for the long jump runways is underway and donations will be collected through your child’s Muir Time class.  The winning class receives a boba tea party. 

Open House this Thursday
Open House will take place Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8pm.  Students will bring home a flyer today and your child should provide you with their class schedule.

Let’s Do Lunch Postponed
Because of the forecast of rain this week and concerns about the field being wet, Let’s Do Lunch for 6^th grade families will be postponed until next Friday, March 28^th.  

Early Dismissal on Friday and Spring Break next week
We will have a shortened day with 2pm dismissal on Friday and Muir will be closed next week for Spring Break.
